Laura
Laura Savolainen found her way to circus at the age of 8. At Sorin Sirkus, local youth circus in Tampere, Finland she practiced the basics but also developed a deeper interest in tight wire dancing as well as in hula hoop manipulation. Throughout the years she truly fell in love with the opportunities of the world of circus and decided to make that into her career.
During her studies both in Sasak (Lahti, Finland) and later at the Stockholm University of Arts (formerly known as DOCH) Laura has been developing her own musically very detailed approach of expressing on stage. Soon in spring 2024 she will graduate and end the chapter of studies but yet aims to keep on exploring the curiosities of her surroundings with and without objects.

hoops she set in search of the best teachers: Spin circus academy,
Melbourne for circus hoops, Beijing international circus school,
China for handstand hoops, and Raw art summer school, Ukraine

own little hula hoop salad. Gracie has worked presenting
